So Far Great-

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is our second Frigidaire upright freezer. Our first one lasted over 18 years, and although it was still working, we decided it was probably better to be safe than sorry and replace it.
Given how well the first one served us, buying another Frigidaire was an easy decision. The new freezer has more usable space and, importantly for us, is garage-rated. We now live in Texas, where garage temperatures can get extremely hot in the summer, so that was a must-have feature.
So far, we're very pleased with it. If this one gives us anything close to the 18+ years we got from our first Frigidaire, we'll be very happy customers.
Given how well the first one served us, buying another Frigidaire was an easy decision. The new freezer has more usable space and, importantly for us, is garage-rated. We now live in Texas, where garage temperatures can get extremely hot in the summer, so that was a must-have feature.
So far, we're very pleased with it. If this one gives us anything close to the 18+ years we got from our first Frigidaire, we'll be very happy customers.

FRIGIDAIRE WINS!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] You know, growing up in the 60s, GE has always been my preferred choice on appliances. As I've gotten older & thru online research, I've come to find out that Frigidaire gets high ratings. As a matter of fact, this upright freezer ratings was the reason my wife & I purchased this freezer. On top of that, we keep 2 refrigerators & 1 upright freezer in our kitchen/pantry & when our new 16 Cu. Ft. freezer arrived, I looked at my old freezer & the refrigerators in our home & didn't realize till then that they were Frigidaire as well. Go figure. Way to go Frigidaire! Nice job!

Impressive upright Freezer / Refrigerator combo

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our last upright freezer finally gave up last month. A quick search online between the big box, appliance stores and direct website resulted in the purchase direct from Frigidaire. Especially convenient was the option to have it installed, since it was going to be placed in the basement. We really like the quiet operation, the glass shelves, a basket at the bottom and the door shelves. This model FFUE1626AW is larger than the previous freezer (which was getting packed sometimes after impulse purchases of on sale meat) - more like the size of a regular fridge, possibly taller. It also has a modern look with the curved door - unlike most which are flat and look like a so-so appliance. This freezer will allow us to break up the purchases into smaller quantities and still have room for more. We expect this freezer to operate more efficiently than the previous one, so I would say this was a good purchase.
