Great balance

Really like this product. Exactly what I need for my screened in porch. Wasn't sure if I should get a fridge or freezer to free up space in my normal fridge. This was a great compromise. I think I'll use it for both, depending on the season. Fridge in the summer. Freezer in the winter.

Frigidaire combo freezer refrigerator garage ready unit

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Excited about this addition to the garage. This is replacing a 20 year old deep freeze that finally gave out. This 7 cubic foot freezer may not be as large as the old but has plenty of space to store our every need. The shelves are adjustable so you can easily organize from a large turkey to frozen meals. This is going to be perfect for our needs. I have not tried to use the refrigerator part yet but this is a nice feature. At some point I will get another unit to replace the old standup fridge that was a match to the deep freeze that quit working.
Very happy with this Frigidaire unit and would recommend this unit to anyone looking to expand their freezer or refrigerator space.

Upright Freezer a Great Addition to my Garage!

I love the option of setting the temperature to a refrigerator setting, giving me some flexibility with the freezer. Ability to move the shelves to different levels is a nice option as well. I'll use this for both refrigeration and freezing as needed throughout the year, so I'm looking forward to having this in my garage!

Flexible and Best in Class

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We’ve had this for over a week and used it as a refrigerator for three days, mainly for canned beer and bottled sodas. The temperature control and capacity are excellent. I wish we could keep it that way permanently, but we mostly need it as a freezer. Now that we’ve switched it, it holds as much as my old 10 cu ft chest freezer and makes it much easier to access items.

Perfect addition to the garage!

The size is perfect; small enough to put in a garage without taking up valuable space, but large enough to hold plenty of additional freezer items.
The installation was simple. Just pick the location, plug it in and set the temperature control knob to the recommended temperature.
The 5 shelves are all adjustable so loading food is very easy. Everything fits, even a stack of frozen pizzas! The fact that they are made of glass helps to keep the food cold as well.
The overall convenience of this small freezer is what makes it so enjoyable. I don’t have to hunt for things the way I do in the drawer freezer in my kitchen. I can open the door and glance from top to bottom and quickly see what I want.
The main feature that makes this unit so versatile and handy for me is the ability to switch the entire unit over to be a refrigerator instead of a freezer. I have a pool outside the garage door and we spend a lot of time outside during the summer. I envision switching this over to be a refrigerator during the summer and filling it with snacks and drinks for the family. This garage freezer is the perfect size and I couldn’t be happier with it!
