Good but ...

My Frigidaire Gallery 1 door refrigerator purchased in June 2017 is in perfect condition and gave me a lot of satisfaction until I discovered a large area of rust on the back panel inside the fridge. It is close to perforation and I do not know whether the fridge will be operational anymore which is quite premature for a 9 year old appliance of such quality.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love the fridge, but I have learned since purchasing, that this model is discontinued and trying to get extra shelves and drawer dividers is no longer a possibility.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Good fridge, but....

We bought this fridge to replace an earlier version from Frigidaire (same capacity). The unit is - nice clean interior, good lighting, shelves, etc, but there are two issues. 1 ) They made the unit slightly bigger. It is taller by about 3/4 inch and wider by about 1/2 inch. This has caused trouble for us. It did fit into the hole, but I had to remove the doors from the cupboard above the fridge because they would no longer open as the door is even taller than the main cabinet. Why did you make the door higher than the cabinet? Why do manufacturers insist on making fridges ever larger? 2) The door on the old model stopped about 4 inches above the floor. The door on the new model is only about 1.5 inches above the floor. If you plant your feet " the wrong way" when you open or close the door it will rake the top of your foot - painful if you are in bare feet (pretty common thing in the kitchen). If you have shoes on - it will just jam against the shoe. I will get accustomed to planting my feet differently (hopefully before I cut myself) - but it did not have to be like this. Frigidaire - your designers need to think more about ergonomics and less about looks. Despite all this I would still buy it because there is not much else to choose from in an "all fridge" model
