Freezer functionality

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This freezer is everything I was looking for. I cook meals in bulk quantities and freeze for later use. The upright style avoids the need to dig for anything. The factory setting for freezing is spot on at 0 degrees. Glass shelves allow for good visibility. I cannot hear it running once it reached the freeze temperature. The emerald green power light is bright enough to provide a night light. The factory packing for shipping exceeded my expectations by securing the glass shelves, door shelving and door gasket.

Excellent Freezer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We did our homework and landed with this incredible freezer. We had limited space available, so was keen to be sure the freezer we picked would meet this space requirement.
We have been pleased with our purchase. Love the light that indicates the freezer is on. One time I had the door slightly open and the freezer sounded a beeping alarm to alert us, plus the green light on floor flashed.
Opening of the door can be either side - we had our changed over to the right side.
Overall - no frost, storage space shelving is great for helping sort your food (see pic)

Spacious and well lighted

It is brightly lit, nice sized shelves in the door, and roomy basket on the bottom. The thing that would make it even better is another shelf in the cabinet; there is a lot of space between shelves that would easily accept another shelf so that food didn't need to be stacked on top of other food.

Solved the purpose

We bought this convertible freezer so we can use both ways. It’s been one week only for us to use the freezer. We were using it as fridge because our main broke. It is working well until now, this week we are trying to use as freezer and it is keeping food frozen. Crossing my fingers for future use. When bought the freezer salesman said Frigidaire says garage ready but don’t use it in garage because if you keep this freezer in garage and use in winter when temperatures goes in -ve it can break down. So all keep in mind this garage ready fridge/ fridge is good Florida kind of weather which can use it all year long in garage. Turn off in winter when it’s in -ve otherwise it is fine to keep in garage use in appropriate weather conditions. I gave 4 stars because product is new only in use for week and working fine. Not sure about future.
