[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently purchased the Frigidaire 5.0 CF Garage Chest Freezer. I am very happy with my purchase. The unit fit easily into the relatively small area I had available, and it is super quiet. External controls make it easy to use. Not sure I will ever use the refrigerator settings, but it is cool to know that it can be used as a refrigerator as well as a freezer. Two baskets make access easy, and should corral things like frozen burritos. I am looking forward to being able to reduce my spending on frozen products and meat. Having the extra space to get a second turkey at Thanksgiving, or an extra corned beef at St. Patty’s Day will be great, besides being able to stock up when things are on sale, or sold in large packages.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Manageable size and easy to access

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like this freezer as it is a relatively smaller size and works great as a backup for items that are large or needing longer storage from my regular freezer connected to my fridge. I found that it was easy to set up and not too heavy to move around. I like that has a flip top lid which makes seeing the contents while open pretty easy to view in layers. I have yet to fill it up completely but what has been stored in this short time has remained cold and frozen. I anticipate using it more during summer months when I have more entertaining going on and like to prepare items ahead of time. Overall it is a quality construction and easy to access and store food.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great spacious freezer

Unlike standard freezers that can fluctuate when the outside air changes, this model is designed to maintain a consistent internal temp even in changing ambient temperatures. The external digital display is a lifesaver, it allows you to verify that your "liquid gold" is at the correct temperature with a quick glance, without ever opening the lid and risking a temperature drop. Additionally, the high-temperature alarm provides a safety net, alerting you if the unit loses power or fails, which prevents the loss of any milk.
It comes with two sliding baskets and bright LED interior lighting, making it easy to organize milk bags by date so nothing gets lost at the bottom. I highly recommend this freezer for anyone needing extra storage, especially nursing moms. We plan to continue using this unit to store bulk meats long after I am done nursing.

A well designed freezer

I love the light on the top, and the quick freeze feature. Having a easy way to tell the temperature with a simple press is very useful as well. I've managed to fill it up completely already.
