Electrolux Laundry Tower is Awesome

This unit is simply the best. I did the research, and Electrolux did not disappoint. The unit is quiet and efficient. The LED control panel easy to read and navigate with numerous options for the washer and dryer functions. The spin cycle knocked my socks off, decreasing my dryer time in half. The water usage is also decreased without losing the quality of cleaning clothes and comforters. I actually hugged the unit.

Washer/dryer combo

This is the best washer and dryer I've ever purchased. It is efficient and has an optional setting to wash you clothes in 15 .minutes. It is also very quiet. Both the washer and dryer hold a large capacity and can handle a king-sized quilt with ease. Would definitely recommend this appliance.

Thrilled with this purchase - needed a stacked unit in order to install a utility sink in our laundry room. The pros definitely outweigh the cons, starting with purchasing a tower vs separate units - the single control panel is conveniently located between the washer and dryer, with no worries about the dryer possibly moving out of place over time. It was simple to balance the tower initially - no vibration issues, even during the washer spin cycles, and overall operation is extremely quiet (altho all spin cycle speeds are definitely noticeable). Both the washer and dryer have plenty of settings to customize as needed, and have not been disappointed after washing or drying all types of laundry.
Minor cons: very quiet tone to signal end of washer and dryer operation, with no option of increasing volume (but not actually necessary since time remaining for both units is constantly illuminated on control panel). Water does not drain out completely from dispenser drawer, but no residual detergent is left. It may be an issue to bend down to unload the washer, but retrieving laundry from the dryer is easy and efficient.
Purchased our unit in July 2024 and feel less guilty running smaller loads due to the energy star rating (and noticed considerably less water is used during all loads). High dryer position allows a shorter vent hose, which also seems more effective. Very pleased with overall performance - would recommend highly, especially if limited space is available.

We were hesitant to try another front loader but wanted to stack washer and dryer. We were impressed that Electrolux has addressed the issue of gasket mold and a friend also reported that they haven’t had this problem with their Electrolux. It is an impressive machine and so far so good.

We had another stackable unit that was just 6 years old, but had poured money into trying to get a dryer that did not rattle and hum. Also the dryer controls were hard to reach. This unit from Electrolux was stylish, quiet and a perfect fit, w/central controls. The unitized Electrolux dryer/washer vs. two floor machines held together with a stacking kit was a big selling point, plus the LUX dryer lint screen is the best design on the market. Looking forward to years of excellent use.
