Stacked Unit Controls in the Center = Great

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We needed a stacked unit for our new house and while we had a lot of options, I didn't want the stackable units so the dryer controls would be way up top. That limited us to these new machines that are one unit and have the controls in the middle. Perfect. The only hesitation is if one or the other goes bad you may need to replace the whole unit. But it is very quiet, runs great, and does what it is supposed to do.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's still very new but my wife likes it. Replaced a 17yo LG washer/dryer stack as the dryer drum was warping and have to have stackable units. Recommended by our appliance repairman. Very quiet, only noticeable noise is the water drainage during spin cycle. Also the electronics are separated even if they look like a single unit. Ask me again in 17 years!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First new units in 17 years. Our previous LG Steam units were getting tired. Our repairman suggested Electrolux. We have to have stackable appliances due to our new home design (LG had stackable hardware kit available). Getting used to them. Ask me again in 17 years!
Do miss interior lights and they need a low suds detergent, wish they had an alarm volume control. They are very quiet.

My Quiet Tower of Power

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When my washer broke (again) and the repairman gave it last rites, I decided it was time to get a stackable unit to save space. I thought stackables required a compromise in quality just to cut the laundry room footprint in half, but I was in for a very pleasant surprise! The Electrolux Tower has huge capacity in both units, much bigger than the stand-alone units they hauled away, and more thoughtful, practical features than I could have invented on my own, all of them useful to me depending on load. The dryer seems almost psychic, ending at precisely the right moment to leave each batch fluffy and never over-dried. And quiet—so quiet I forget it until hearing the little “all done” tone. I really couldn’t be more pleased.
