Powerhouse Washer/Dryer Combo

Easy to use, has all the settings that you need for delicates, bulky, normal, etc…I love the center controls as it makes it so convenient to operate. It’s super quiet! I can’t even tell the laundry is running!

Absolutely awful!

I live in a condo with a laundry "closet" so I had to get a stackable unit. I chose the Electrolux, mostly because it was the only one with reversible doors, which were required for it's location. Now I wish I'd used the money spent on this unit to repair my old GE unit. Hardly any water in the wash cycles (and we've done all the recommended ways to fix this.) Actually took stuff out of the washer that wasn't even completely wet at the end of the cycle! One quick wash 15 minute cycle. All other wash cycles are over an hour. Dryer just doesn't dry. I set everything on high (over an hour cycle time) and use the "dryer boost" function and items still come out damp. ( 'Normal' cycle doesn't even heat.) I absolutely hate it and wish I'd returned it right away. Plus the issue of having to leave the door open (and detergent drawer) to avoid mold. Oh, and we didn't know, until they delivered it, that it required 2 separate outlets. 220 for dryer and 110 for washer. Had to pay to hire an electrician to install another socket! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!

Perfect fit for our space and life

It had been out of production for quite some time so parts were no longer available. So, after many years of use it, and its companion washer needed to be replaced.
Space was an issue and we were sure we would get new stackables, but time , features snd color were also factors. Our preferred local dealer suggested several options but the new one piece laundry towers were intriguing and the Electrolux unit had everything we needed.
It has a much larger capacity, sleek modern design and a great variety of features/settings. It is fast, with easy to use, intuitive controls that are all at waist height so there is no need to reach up to set and activate the dryer.
We are very pleased with this purchase as we have been with other Electrolux products over the years.

Good value on proper stacked W/D

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There are only 2 proper stacked W/D combo units (outside of European brands with smaller capacity) currently on the market; this and one by LG. A proper stacked combo unit has the controls for both machines in the middle where they are easy to reach, as apposed to "stackable units" which put the dryer controls 6' in the air where they can be hard to see. This Electrolux model is comparable to the LG in all respects except for price. The Electrolux wins for value and has been working great so far.

Great Washer and Dryer Combo

Using Consumer Reports, I found this set for 50% less than many others. The set was highly rated. The touch panel is very easy to use and clearly marked. Lint filter is large and easy to clean. Very quiet except on the high speed for towels. Very happy with this set.
