No mildew! This will clean anything!

One of my favorite features about this washer is it does not mildew, like other front loading washers do, because of an ingenious magnetic clip that keeps the door ajar, while not in use, just enough to let the inside air out but not enough to have the door sticking out in the way of a hallway or laundry closet door.
I have an old sleeping bag from the 80's which, obviously, hasn't been very clean for most of its life. I swear this unit made it cleaner than it was brand new. I am extremely impressed. And the dryer fluffed it beautifully. The sleeping bag was the first thing I washed because this washer is the first one I've owned that is big enough to comfortably handle such a bulky item.

Love it!

Love to do laundry now!

Die hard LG Devoted Owner has Jumped to Electrolux

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Over the past 15 years I have moved 3 times, each move I have purchased LG washer and dryers, and when I sold the homes left the set there as a selling point,
Until now.
We bought a home in Medina Ohio, the house was missing a washer and dryer, so I went to my local retailer with the intention of buying another LG set.
After scrutinizing the options and details I went with Electrolux wash tower.
The washer on the new set is larger than the LG and the Dryer, OMG is large enough to dry two full washloads at once. Very handy if you have pet beds that are in need of Cleaning.
Now I was skeptical about any set preforming as well as LG, after my first wash which was a weeks worth of clothes and towels, where I pushed the boundary of what a full load is. I mean I crammed clothes into the Electrolux washer, figured it would at least clear the funk of damp towels and sweaty clothes.
When it finished I loaded up the dryer and let it fly.
When they finished drying, they were clean.
It was impressive, and this trend continues.
Sorry LG, but Electrolux has just taken your crown.

Love This Stacked Set!

After reading reviews and consumer reports ratings, we decided to purchase. We have no regrets! Love the flexibility of settings for both wash and dry cycles. And love the fact that the "Normal" dry setting dries a load of towels in 60 minutes.
My only issue is trying to open the dryer lint filter to clean it after each load. But I like that it's enclosed and lint doesn't hang everywhere when removing it.

Great unit!
