Great product.

I bought this as I was headed into a remote area where I knew there would be no cell service. The inReach Mini 3 allowed me to stay in contact with family and the SOS feature gave peace of mind knowing Search and Rescue could be contacted if needed.

I recently purchased the Garmin InReach Mini 3 Plus because I am always out in the country exploring with no cell phone service. This has given me peace of mind knowing that I can contact anyone at any time needed. It works flawlessly and is very well built.

Must have for any adventurer!

This thing is fantastic. The hands free feature, multi band GNSS, phone free operation, and photo messaging, gives me peace of mind. If my hands are wet, or God forbid bloody, I can still operate this device and get help asap. I like how my wife, family, and friends can track my position from home with frequent 2 minute updates and send me direct messages to check in on me. I do a lot of offshore saltwater fishing trips, and backbacking trips that take me miles into the wilderness, and now that I have a family and responsabilities this device is a must have. I love the accuracy and abundance of information I can get from this device and service.

Excellent Product

I bought this a few weeks ago right before taking bike ride in Potter County Pennsylvania. The trail is very secluded with no cell service and I wanted to have some assurances I could reach out for support if anything would happen. This device is amazing and very easy to use and set up. I hope I never have to use it for emergency reasons but I now have an insurance blanket in case I do.

An amazing tool for any hiker

An amazingly compact, life-saving tool. The voice activated functions and resulting ease of use, along with the basic nav features, make this a no-brainer for anyone traveling in the backcountry. The ability to suspend Garmin subscription service in between hiking trips made this purchase possible for us.

Lifesaving device, great subscription flexibility

This device is a lifesaver, and the ability to temporarily suspend account service for up to 12 months is the determining factor for making this purchase. My wife and I are infrequent hikers, but when we go, we like to be in remote areas without cell service. The ability to easily upgrade and downgrade the InReach subscription level - and to even turn off the service and monthly billing for up to 12 months without penalty - is a game-changer, and this flexibility made a Mini 3 Plus purchase possible for us.

Upgrade worth it

Traded up from a 10 year old Inreach and glad I did. Much better connection speed amongst a whole host of other upgrades. I use it for motorcycle trips where cell service can be nonexistent and have appreciated the tech and safety aspect of the product (Apple has Satellite but it’s not as reliable or designed for this use case as well).

Great Device. Small but Powerful.

I bought this after getting the Garmin H1 Plus. I returned that unit due to software issues galore. Constant reboots, etc. and just not a good device for the money. I pivoted and got this unit to have a satellite communicator and it's awesome. I had the Mini 2 and this is a good upgrade to that device. Peace of mind when the kids go out hiking that they can at least communicate with us and I have it in the car when travelling. Overall, I like the portability of this unit. If they would upgrade the maps on this unit, I think this could be a better unit overall. Great unit and recommend it.
