Beautiful but disappointing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wanted to love this refrigerator, but I am disappointed. I have had to have it serviced once and it didn’t fix the issue so they have to come back out. Two service calls in a month of owning it. It’s a beautiful appliance, but I would not be able recommend a Kitchen Aid.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Only thing I don’t care for in the water don’t dispense could after one cup and takes a long time to cool down
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The fridge is great. I like the layout of the drawers and doors. Components seem sturdy and designed with quality in mind. I also enjoy the water dispenser auto filling cups and bottles. This is especially helpful for the kids.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Excellent temperature control for both refrig and freezer compartments. Easy to use drawers and shelves. In-door ice maker and container operation is smooth. Water filter is easy to install and remove. Food remains fresh in all compartments with consistent humidity.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love the Juniper color and the wood accents inside. They give the refrigerator such a beautiful, high-end look. I also love that you can swap out the handles for gold ones to really customize it to your style. It’s such a nice touch! My only complaint is that the ice bin could be bigger, as we seem to run out of ice pretty quickly. Other than that, I’m extremely happy with this refrigerator. It’s both beautiful and functional!
I’ve now had this same refrigerator twice now and both times the fridge has been defective. First the freezer drawer wouldn’t close all the way so they swapped out the whole unit. Now the new unit seemingly has a defective door sensor and now thinks the door is open at all times. Also plastic film has been installed improperly and cannot be removed without potentially removing entire pieces. The water autofill was a cool feature but now that the unit thinks the door is open it is no longer working. There are also parts where you can see the insulation on the outside of the fridge and the inside. Overall would not recommend so far.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like my new refrigerator. The wood on the pull-out shelf really elevated the look and I like the auto fill water feature on the door. There is a problem with the door on the left side of my french door refrig, It does not stay open like the door on the right. I had the service department out twice and they said the door was to heavy with the ice maker on that side so nothing can be done about it. They even called Kitchen Aid to see if there was a fix. I was disappointed with that assessment.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm really happy with my KitchenAid refrigerator! Not only does it look beautiful in my kitchen, but it's also very functional and thoughtfully designed. One of my favorite features is the intelligent auto-fill water dispenser. It's so convenient and one of those little luxuries you quickly get used to!
I also love the bottom freezer drawer. It makes everything easy to access and keeps frozen foods organized without taking away from the spacious refrigerator above. The French doors are great, and the interior has plenty of room for everything.
Overall, I'm very pleased with this refrigerator. It's stylish, practical, and has some really nice features that make everyday life a little easier. Definitely a great addition to my kitchen!
