My toddler got a hold of my MCON and got it damp. I soaked it in rice and tried to do repairs myself to save it with no avail. Contact support, expected to be told there is nothing they could do, but they have offered a one time replacement. I couldn’t believe they were so generous with something that was my fault!
Plastic cracks, handles broke off. Love the idea of the controller, though.

The plastic is cheap. The back casing has micro cracks. When you pull out the handles, it causes those micro cracks to expand. The handles themselves are weak plastic, weaker than the actual hinge, making you apply more force on said weak plastic handles, causing one of the handles to break (I hot-glued it back on, but can’t use the handles anymore). The phone plate broke at the hinge, again weak plastic, but they sent me a new phone plate so, I’m not going to complain. My life is super sedentary, (I’m a teacher for goodness sake) meaning I’m not throwing this around. It’s either in my tech bag in a designated pocket or on my night stand, waiting to used to play Red Dead or Control or Sniper Elite or Manic Emu. Love the concept, lots to be said about the execution.
I love this thing. I have large hands and it still fits comfortably for me. There are a handful of truly cool devices out there and this is one of them. The target market for MCon are going to utilize this for emulation, and for that alone, I say this device is 5/5 stars. The only reason I give it 4 is because this is model #0, and i think there are some points of improvement!I have one point to put here though. Pass through charging would be amazing on this. I want to plug my phone in and charge both devices at once.A lot of folks are (for some reason) putting this up against the Pocket Taco controller and to the MCON team I say this: please make this controller without the sticks. Doing that would save so much space and thickness!Anyways, this thing is great!
The older I get and the more responsibilities I take on, the more difficult getting a game in is. This controller makes it much easier for me to play some games on my phone when I get the occasional few minutes to myself. Controller feels great and functionality is amazing.
It’s a good travel size controller. Responsive and easy to connect. Doesn’t feel bulky and a tab bit on the small side for people with long fingers such as myself. But outside of that “can’t complain really” it’s a good controller for sure!
Love it. Fits my bulky phone and super bulky case no problem (iPhone 17 pro with a lot of armor). Super convenient for emulation and cloud gaming. The design keeps it well protected for travel and the utility as a backup controller for my PlayStation or iPad is pretty awesome. Now we just need to see how long it lasts, but no stick drift, buttons feel good and Hall effect triggers for shooting games feel satisfying. The wings make it comfortable for long sessions. Would buy again.
It works well and can attach to anything with a magnetic ring. The controls feel great. Currently this is my favorite controller and I have a lot of them. This controller has a lot of good options with how to use it. Shipping was fast. Would definitely recommend it to others
So.. I do like this because of how portable this is. Its way more portable than the other mobile controllers. The awkward part is related to the design to be portable. The recessed sticks are weird IMO, the ergonomics just isn't all that comfortable. The flip-out palm rests def help if you have a huge phone otherwise the weight of the phone vs the weight of this do not balance well and you almost have to flip them out to use it. The build quality and size are what I would give this the 3 stars for but ergonomics of this, its not awesome. Trade offs for portability I guess.
