I suppourted and followed the kickstarter. Was so excited for the features and engineering. Recieved it and loved how amazing its made and works. Have use it for mobile gaming on my phone. PERFECT. My grip is connectivity that was promised. Using PS remote play its not recognized (one of my main buying point). Also wanted to use a mobile controller while in my tesla. Not recognized as a controller. Those are my only complaints.

I had a Razer Kishi with my iPhone 13 Pro Max, which I used rarely because it was a bit clunky, but LOVE what having the external controller did for my online FPS play on iPhone.I had been following the MCON's development and watching for it on the site for a while, but life happened and I lost track. Ran into the listing the other day and thought, "Why not, I have sucked at FPS games since I traded in the lighting powered iPhone 13 for the USB -C iPhone 16 Pro." SO I put in my coins and got my gaming goodness. There is nothing else like this that I am aware of. Connecting the phone via Bluetooth and MagSafe for physical attachment, being able to eject the mount deck and set the phone on table top, using it as a controller on my iPad and my iMac too! AMAZING getting plenty of use out of this little gem. The build quality seems to be OFF THE HOOK great. The thumbsticks being recessed took me like 20 minutes to adjust to, but this thing is amazing.HIGHLY recommend. IF you are interested, just get it. IF you aren't interested, you should be. Wanna know why your buddies are beating you at FPS games on mobile? This is it.
I did have to download an app (pxplay) to get the mcon to work on my ps5. It connects to my phone (samsung galaxy s25 ultra) quickly and constantly. And the battery life is great for my intermittent playing away from my ps5. Just wish I didn't need to get an app to use it.
