I use this thing all the time. Very versatile. Wish it worked with ps5 but nonetheless it’s great. Exactly the thing I was looking for

This was a great controller until I used it for the first time the screws supporting the extended grip that pulled out fell out and I lost the screw and the grip just slipped right off not very happy lol.

Been using it on my phone for emulation and in Steam. Works great for basically anything. My only critique is how the gyro is handled. It works in Steam Input! But only if you enable the built-in left/right stick mapping. So I can't use Steam Input to bind the gyro to anything because it would be double-bound. I understand XInput doesn't have gyro support, but DualShock and Switch controllers do. I wish, when the controller was not in XInput mode, the gyro was active without enabling the list/right stick mapping. This would make it basically perfect.

I really like this controller. The buttons and thumbsticks are nice and clicky, and it feels really nice to play with. My only issue is that the grips when folded out are a bit too skinny for my hands, so I usually play without them.

Pocket Sized Handheld Gaming Returns!

Back in 2012 I bought the 3G Vita, and it opened my eyes to a future where a Smartphone and a Handheld could be one and the same. For 4 years, I had access to AAA games on the smartphone I had in my pocket 24/7. Fully ready to go, jump into games in a second, answer/make calls or texts, and play custom soundtracks. In 2016 they shut off the ability to call and text from Vita.Over the last 10 years, I have tried over a dozen different phones, controller mounts for gamepads, attachable controllers, but nothing ever gave me that pocket sized, no fuss, 24/7 access to AAA games like the 3G Vita did until now!MCON in combination with Apples new Games App has turned my iPhone into a proper successor to the Vita for the 1st time. Can keep this attached to my phone, or in my pocket at all times, hop into games in seconds, and answer/make calls and texts without issue. After a decade, I am finally able to live the dream I was in once again! Now, that said, I would love to see a few improvements. It would be awesome if we could buy attachment plates that fit our specific phone perfectly. The current set ups jack of all trades approach leaves quite a large gap between the phone and the controller, adding additional overall thickness, which could be reduced with solutions more specific for each phone. Hopefully, this will be successful enough to warrant more phone specific support. The only other issue, is I have experienced dropped connections from time to time. I have never had this with the DualSense with a clip, which was my previous go to at home. So, I am not sure if a firmware update is needed, or what might be the case, but it is definitely something to note. All in all, I could not be more happy to finally be able to turn my commute, breaks, and lunch back quick AAA gaming sessions. This controller builds a solid foundation, which can bring us back up to speed in the pocket sized AAA Handheld gaming space. I would recommend it to anyone who ever loved Gameboy - PS Vita in the past, or those who want to experience their AAA games library on the go!
