I've been waiting for this device for a long time. I’ve been a video game lover since I was a kid and always wanted a PSP Go, but at the time, I never had the chance to get one due to money constraints. However, now as an adult, thanks to the MCON, I can finally get the feeling of playing on a PSP Go because I use the controller with my Samsung Galaxy S25—and it fits perfectly. I love this controller; you can really see the engineering that went into building it. Thank you, ohsnap!
Everything I love in a portable controller. I mostly play emulators but this thing could easily pull off FPS like COD mobile. My wife fell in love with it and ended up buying her own
This controller is the most comfortable, versatile, and portable controller I have ever used. I love this controller I take it with me everywhere because it fits in my pocket. Such a great design I love everything about it. Oh Snap you guys did an amazing job.
It's good. I like it. I keep it on me whenever I feel like playing mobile games. Easy to use and work with. However, it is not suitable ish for foldable phones. And the main plate tends to not sick on the controller too well. Either the left side comes off, or the right side. But overall it comes in handy when you want to play mobile games on the go.
I have larger hands and even with the iPhone Pro Max, it’s still a struggle to comfortably play games when I have some downtime. I’ve been watching the development of the MCON for a while now and purchased one as soon as it became available. IM SO HAPPY!!!! I love this thing, truly! Even though my hands feel a bit cramped with the trigger buttons on the back, it’s still sooooo much better than just holding my phone. Also, great call on adding the fold-out grips, those make it so much easier to hold especially with a larger phone on top. Thank you so much for bringing mobile gaming back into my life! Looking forward to what you dream up next!
Back in 2012 I bought the 3G Vita, and it opened my eyes to a future where a Smartphone and a Handheld could be one and the same. For 4 years, I had access to AAA games on the smartphone I had in my pocket 24/7. Fully ready to go, jump into games in a second, answer/make calls or texts, and play custom soundtracks. In 2016 they shut off the ability to call and text from Vita.Over the last 10 years, I have tried over a dozen different phones, controller mounts for gamepads, attachable controllers, but nothing ever gave me that pocket sized, no fuss, 24/7 access to AAA games like the 3G Vita did until now!MCON in combination with Apples new Games App has turned my iPhone into a proper successor to the Vita for the 1st time. Can keep this attached to my phone, or in my pocket at all times, hop into games in seconds, and answer/make calls and texts without issue. After a decade, I am finally able to live the dream I was in once again! Now, that said, I would love to see a few improvements. It would be awesome if we could buy attachment plates that fit our specific phone perfectly. The current set ups jack of all trades approach leaves quite a large gap between the phone and the controller, adding additional overall thickness, which could be reduced with solutions more specific for each phone. Hopefully, this will be successful enough to warrant more phone specific support. The only other issue, is I have experienced dropped connections from time to time. I have never had this with the DualSense with a clip, which was my previous go to at home. So, I am not sure if a firmware update is needed, or what might be the case, but it is definitely something to note. All in all, I could not be more happy to finally be able to turn my commute, breaks, and lunch back quick AAA gaming sessions. This controller builds a solid foundation, which can bring us back up to speed in the pocket sized AAA Handheld gaming space. I would recommend it to anyone who ever loved Gameboy - PS Vita in the past, or those who want to experience their AAA games library on the go!
