not well put together cheap drawers

no freezer light, overall alright

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] we replaced a 32 yr old fridge, so nothing will be that sturdy again, we are finding. We bought this fridge to replace the new maytag we bought in July and returned when this one was delivered. This is quieter, cools well, drawers function and lighting is good in the refrigerator portion, but there is no light in the freezer which is very disappointing at this price point.

Poor design and function

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The glass shelves have very limited selection for spacing and are full length side to side, rather than being split in the middle which allows for wider and more maneuverability. The movable “cheese” drawer is too shallow and thus has limited storage space. The temperature control settings are rudimentary, with only 3 choices, rather than digital allowing for precise temperature settings. The gaskets around mine had multiple big gaps, allowing warm air to be drawn into the refrigerator and freezer. This created the immense build-up of moisture within the unit - so much so that water was dripping off the entire ceiling and back of the refrigerator and the build-up of ice crystals around the edges of the freezer. Due to this issue, my refrigerator was only cooling to 54 degrees and my freezer was only 36 degrees. I had to have a repairman come out to repair the gaskets so that they made a tight seal.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My only complaint is that the bottom drawers of the refrigerator are not flush with the glass shelf above it and stick out further...thereby making it impossible for any tall bottles to be placed in the bottom rack of the refrigerator door, because the door will not close tightly and pops open.

Pretty good so far

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's difficult to anticipate the longevity since we have had it for only a few weeks. It definitely cools well. It keeps temperatures in recommended range both on the fridge and the freezer sections. I'm hoping I will adapt to the temperature controller system which I find vague. it has only 4 levels of cooling from which I found the first 2 useless. So let's see how it works if those 2 remaining settings will be enough to pinpoint the temperature needed when the appliance gets older. I also find the height of the refrigerator section could be higher while keeping the overall height the same. It's uncomfortable to reach out to items you put behind. I would rather sacrifice a little room in the freezer in order to make refrigerator more comfortable. It's advertised with 3 smaller shelves in the door but actually only brings 2.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We went with Whirlpool again after our old Whirlpool of 36 years started going out. The freezer and refrigerator are performing well. The only complaint that I would have is that there are no leveling feet. So we had to get door stops to keep refrigerator from Rolling out when you opened doors.
