Two big thumbs up. My wife and I traveled to Europe from Dec 15 2025 to Jan 8 2026 and I used this bag to carry all of my clothes and some of my wife’s. I only used this bag and did not use any other carry on.
Took 8 flights and 5 trains and carried on all flights except for one time I checked it. I was able to fit all my clothes and stuff in it including a travel blazer, winter coat, wool layer clothes, gloves, my computer, a portable backpack inside for grocery runs on the road, etc… even a deck of cards and 4 stainless steel cups for drinking wine/whisky on the train.
This bag has lots of excellent features and makes light traveling easy. Some of my fave things: most of the time I kept the backpack straps inside and instead used the luggage dolly strap to keep the bag on top of my wife’s roller carry on luggage - so I could roll both of our luggage with one arm. I did deploy the luggage straps a couple of times and they were convenient and worked great. I also liked the passport pocket because it was protected but also easy for me to access.
I travel a lot with my wife and I prefer to roll her luggage while using a duffle that converts to a backpack when needed. I also use a bag like this from Peak Design but it’s bigger and I deemed it too big for this light-pack journey with the risk of baggage-uptight European airlines and so I tried this Thule bag instead and loved it.
Highly recommend if you travel anything like my scenario.
Photos show what I looked like during travel… note that this is everything for me winter clothes and all my other stuff and some of my wife’s are inside my Thule that is on top of my wife’s roller bag. Other photo is of inside in which I used a compression bags to maximize space efficiency.
