Nice appearance but underwhelming

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a self-proclaimed stationery enthusiast, my collection ranges from budget finds to high-end Montblancs, with my daily drivers often being the smooth and reliable Sarasas I’ve picked up during trips to Japan….sooooo, when I tried the Sharpie S-Gel Copper, I had high expectations—especially given the sleek, copper-plated design.
Let’s start with the positives: the pen writes consistently well, BUT with no skipping or blotching. The ink flow is smooth, and it’s a solid option for everyday use. However, despite these strengths, there are some noticeable mechanical flaws that detract from the overall experience.
First off, the tip feels scratchy against the paper—not in a ‘precision-writing’ way, but more in a ‘grating’ sense, especially when compared to pens like the Pilot G2 or my Sarasa. If you’re looking for a silky writing experience, this may disappoint.
While the copper construction gives it a heft that feels durable and upscale in hand, the ink itself feels oddly mismatched with the pen’s exterior. It’s as if the luxurious design of the pen promises a writing experience that the ink doesn’t quite deliver. The pen looks like it should ooze sophistication, but the ink feels more like your average office pen, lacking the depth or vibrancy you’d expect in a premium product.
It’s a reliable pen…but it falls short of living up to the elegance its appearance suggests. If you’re looking for a stylish pen to jot down meeting notes or sign the occasional document, it’ll do the job. But if you’re after a truly satisfying writing experience, there are better options out there. It also came with with a refill but it would’ve been nice if it was in its own case or something instead of just taped to the back of the pen’s packaging???

Great pen!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my new go to pen for everyday use. I’ve stuck it in my top drawer! It glides super nice on paper and doesn’t smudge! It feels super nice on your hand and doesn’t get uncomfortable when writing a lot!

This may be one of the best pens I have bought this year

I normally only use G2 pens and I prefer this over that the design is very sleek kinda on the heavy side but I don’t mind for the way it looks. It’s definitely a conversation starter and I’m going to love to add this to my collection. I almost threw the box away and realized there was a refill taped on the backside so just be careful.

Sleek Sharpie Pen

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very sleek new pen from Sharpie. I’m usually loyal to my Pentel Energel 0.7 pens but this one is very comparable. I like that it came with an extra cartridge so more environmentally friendly than others. Cartridge was taped under the pen packaging so may be easy to miss if you don’t know it’s there. Overall great pen and looking forward to using.

Small Amount of Smearing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like the comfort and heavy duty feeling of this pen. It is advertised as no smear technology, but upon doing a quick test it seems is can smear just a small amount. Overall though it’s a great value!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It writes very smooth the the shape of the pen makes it a bit uncomfortable to use. It feels too bulky for my liking. It feels like a really good quality pen that will last a while, if no one steals it!

Amazing! My Go To Pen!!!!!

This metal barrel makes the oens seem fancier amd they have a nice weight. Sharpie S-Gel has been a great find—the ink flows smoothly, dries quickly, and writes beautifully.
