It is new. I am old. A possible mismatch.

I "upgraded" from a Moto G Power 2021. My android version was "11". Now it is version "16". I am not a geek. Therefore, I do need features which lead to a logical progression on a decision tree. However, I detest AI generated decisions and I now waste a lot of time trying to disarm the AI triggers that want to dominate my simple mind. I still wade through the weeds in the system commands to block getting sucked unto a result I was not anticipating. The G Pwr 2021 needed a replacement battery. I think I should have bought a battery and waited a little longer to upgrade.

Hi W.J.E., Thank you for sharing your experience. We understand that moving from a Moto G Power 2021 on Android 11 to a new device on Android 16 can feel overwhelming, especially when the system introduces new features and AI-driven suggestions that can seem intrusive. As we stand by our phones, we'd like to know more details. We have sent you an email. Please reply to it for further assistance. Thank you.

Had this phone for a few months now, no issues. I'm a production manager so I use it all day. Don't even use half the battery. Nice upgrade!

Not impressed.

I was hoping for more as I've been pleased with multiple moto phones over the years. This one missed the mark a bit. The fact they didn't include WIFI 6 boggles the mind as my 2024 Edge had such. It seems like the screen is weirdly sensitive, it constantly like closes text message/email message windows while I'm typing which is not an issue I recall happening on the many previous Moto phones I've owned over many many years now. It does seem a bit bulkier and heavier than I would've liked. I kind of feel I should've just repaired the glass on my 2024 Edge and waited.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
