Dust everywhere! and just in time for the Super Bo

Typically, I do not buy Vanity Fair napkins because they are more expensive. But in this case, we were hosting a gathering and thought I would get the better napkins. Never again! I opened a package and took out a bunch of napkins and put them on the glass table that was spotlessly clean. The dust that came out of them was unbelievable! I had to take them outside and smack them together to release the dust in order to be able to use them, and then hurriedly remove the dust from the table. This is the last time I will buy Vanity Fair napkins, and I am planning on returning these.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Quality Not What it Was

I have been buying these napkins exclusively for years, possibly decades. I have found my recent purchases to be of in superior quality. It has gone from luxurious to feeling like wiping my face with sandpaper. I’m not certain what change was made but it was not for the better. I will be sourcing a new product for certain.

Inconsistent quality

Your packaging boasts “QUALITY” since 1958. I have probably used VF napkins since then because of their quality and selection over the years: dinner, luncheon, everyday casual, etc. always met my dining and entertaining needs.
However, I have recently been disappointed in the QUALITY - specifically the inconsistency of providing the advertised 2-ply napkin. My two most recent purchases of the VF Everyday Casual Napkins (300 count) are not all 2-ply. It seems that almost every other napkin is very thin and I suspect only 1-ply. These are totally unacceptable as these had been my primary napkin for my grandchildren, who, by the way, even noticed how quickly they fell apart.
If you are going to advertise quality and specific descriptions of the materials you certainly should adhere to those specifications.
Is this a manufacturing error that happened to slip past QUALITY control?
Please address my concerns so that I know whether to continue to have VF as my go-to napkins for all occasions.

I used to love getting your napkins. But now they have become so thin and so ordinary that it’s just like getting the store brand. The extraordinary on the package doesn’t mean anything anymore. I might as well buy generic very disappointed in vanity, fair napkins. Stop cutting corners and go back to the way. Vanity, fair napkins used to be.

disappointed in "new" Everyday Napkins

We have used Everyday Napkins for years and appreciated their weight and absorbency. the batch we have now are flimsy and more like the "cheap" brands we intentionally did not buy. are the "extra absorbent" now the equivalent of the old everday napkins? disappointed

The Best Napkins

I use a Vanity Fair napkin everyday to keep under my glass of water throughout the day. It absorbs the little spills and condensation from my glass. It is heavy enough that I can use it throughout the day and not have to worry it will fall apart.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Disappointed.

I have used these napkins for years and have found recently that the quality has gone down. The napkins are so thin and flimsy they don’t even stand up in a napkin holder. They remind me of tissue paper. Please bring back the quality from the past!
