I hate the new material

Vanity Fair used to have a luxuriously soft feeling and highly absorbent and thick. Now it’s almost an irritating thin papery feeling that’s not absorbing at all.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have used these napkins for years and in the last year the quality has dropped. The napkins are no longer as strong as they were. So I have to say I will no longer purchasse them.

What Happened?

We have used Vanity Fair napkins for 20 + years and it seems in the last 6 months or so. both my husband and I have remarked how the napkins 'fall apart' - i.e., one ply separates from the other - and all of a sudden you have 2 tissue (think: Kleenex) size pieces of not very absorbent & not very durable napkin, if you will.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
