Quality has deteriorated!

I have used nothing but Vanity Fair Everyday napkins for many, many years. The quality has deteriorated to the point that they are sad and useless! They are still advertised as 2 ply, but they are so thin that it makes a mockery of the term 2 ply. I will not be buying Vanity Fair napkins again.....

What happened?

For past couple of decades I’ve used the Everyday napkins pretty much, well, every day. They were 2 ply, sturdy, silky, and nicely embossed. So much better than the average, everyday napkin.
Recently purchased Everyday napkins are still two ply but made from very thin, cheap, slightly embossed material that barely adhere to one another. I’ve tried the Extra Absorbant but they are more like paper towels and unattractive.
After all these years I’ll be looking for an equivalent replacement. If it wasn’t broke, why fix it? Maybe a little more greed than pride in the product? Unfortunately, you’ve lost a faithful customer.

Used for years, needing 4 napkins to even come close to being equal to one of Old Vanity Fair Napkin. Will not purchase again.

What happened to the quality?

We have been buying these napkins for several years, always recommending. Something awful has changed, as they are now as thin as discount off-brand varieties and not as soft. We have tissues and toilet paper softer and heftier than these. Sad day when companies REDUCE quality to save a little money. This shopper notices and will make adjustments.

Why change a good thing?

I have been using these napkins (everyday ones) for over 20 years and they must have changed their quality. They are not soft anymore and so disappointed that I need to find a new napkin after all these years.

Very disappointing! My new package of napkins are nothing like the napkins. I have come to use and love. The formulation has changed. The new napkins are not silky anymore. They are scratchy and rough and much thinner. I wish I could have my money back For buying them . I have no idea what napkins I will buy in the future, but I know it will not be these.

I’ve been buying your napkins since I came to this country in 1979. Sure it cost more than any supermarket brand, but the quality was superior. That quality is now gone. Why would you sabotage your own product?

I have used these for years and was very pleased instead of store brand. WHAT DID YOU DO TO THEM???? THEY ARE TERRIBLE ……SO THIN?????
