I love that they are a bit larger than regular sandwich bags but not as large a quart bags. Sometimes you just need that in-between size.

I love the easy open tab on these bags. Sometimes it is just hard to get them open...if your cooking your hands can be greasy, tiny hands are unaccustomed to opening them, etc. So it's nice to have that option when you know you will need them. Also, they're good for organizing. You can write on the tabs for an easier way to see what's in it if they are stacked! The bag itself is the same durable bags I expect from Ziploc.
