This coffee is great for a regular coffee maker. The K Cups have a wonderful aroma and flavor, but these cups consistently dump way too many grinds into my cup. It's not my coffee maker either, because this is the only variety of K Cups that do this. The only reason I don't give this cup 5 stars is the presence of all those unappetizing grinds. Otherwise, great coffee.
Been a fan of Starbucks and a greater fan of Keurig. I have tried this Pike Place variety from our friend's house - it was awesome. I ordered online and the flavor is just off. As indicated in the title, even great varieties will have its bad batch. Unfortunately, the package that I received is just it - a bad batch. This will not discourage me from trying other Starbucks varieties.
Pros: Pleasing Aroma
Cons: Unpleasant Aftertaste, Unpleasant Flavor, Unbalanced Or Sharp Acidity
I love dark, strong coffees but I am not a huge fan of Starbucks from the store. They brew it too strong (even for me!) and it tastes burnt and bitter. Lots of cream and 10 sugars later make it palatable. However, I love this kcup! Since I can control the cup size and therefore the strength of the coffee, it comes out perfect every time. This is my morning go-to brew and it doesn't last in the house for very long. Caribou's Obsidian used to be my favorite but Pike's has taken it's place!
My boyfriend hates coffee! Or he did, and when he bought be my Keurig, he decided to try it. At first he like the prima barista italian roast. But then he tried the starbucks pike place, and was hooked! He loves it! And drinks it most mornings. And personally, starbucks coffee is usually too bitter for me, but this one is amazing. I love it.
