This is the first time I have used this product and it has been a very frustrating experience. The two issues I encountered were: 1) Tape kept ripping in a jagged fashion nearly every time I tried to pull a length to apply to the room trim. It would rip off of the roll before I could cleanly tear it off. That necessitated stopping application to use my fingernails to lift the jagged edges left on the roll to once again start with a clean straight edge for the next application. 2) Tape curls very quickly when I pulled a length (I was working in lengths of 8 - 12 inches) and probably 25 percent of the time I was unable to unwind the curl to use that end of the tape. I had to rip that part off and pitch it. The tape does stick well and I'm sure the results will be worthy of a satisfactory rating but the application experience has definitely been sub-par.

Thank you for taking the time to provide your Rating and Review of the ScotchBlue™ Painter's Tape Advanced Multi-Surface with Edge-Lock 2093EL. We are sorry to hear about the trouble you are having with the actual removal of the product from the roll and also having the product to stick to your surfaces without curling. Please know that this can occur when you are pulling the tape off the roll and stretching the actual tape material as you are trying to apply it to the surface. The tape may start to curl and lift as it is pulling back into place. We are happy to work with you to get a possible replacement roll for the one that you are having difficulty with. Please watch for a direct email reply from us. Thank you again.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A little more expensive than the other brands; but it always gives me a nice, crisp edge. Peels off easily and doesn't leave a reside.
I'm in the process of remodeling my bathroom and wanted to do an accent wall with tone on tone stripes ( mat base and high gloss stripes) after painstakingly taping the areas making sure everything was strait it was time to paint, up to this stage , no problem, then it was time to remove the tape and I was ready to admire my newly painted wall....boy was I disappointed!! As I was CAREFULLY pulling of the tape all of my base paint came off with it !!!! Now I have to spend hours in redoing my wall! Will never use this again

I am prepping paint powder room walls for painting. Earlier this week, I cleaned the trim to make sure it was free from dust and dirt. Last night, I carefully applied tape to the baseboard and crown moulding. Today, almost ALL of it has fallen down or come up. I was very careful to press the edges when I applied the tape. I had to rip all of the tape off and start AGAIN with regular blue painters' tape. This was a complete waste of money!!! So disappointed.

I was extremely dissapointed with this product. I had just gotten new windows put in my house. I wanted to paint around the windows; this was needed because of the holes that were patched up etc. I masked all around my new vinyl windows' and painted two coats around each one. When it came time to take the tape off it started peeling the paint off!. I had to cut between the window and the tape with an exacto knife for each window!!! What a pain!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] painted my kitchen cabinets and used the blue tape to tape up ceiling. When I pulled it off, pulled down parts of the ceiling with it!
