This clock replaces a real cheap one the digital movement is of better quality than the previous. The caddy-wompus Staples logo doesn't bother me since it is used in my woodshop. It keeps good time so far and that's what it is for.
I purcased this clock because it is easy to quick glance and see from a distance. It only lasted 11 months before it began losing time.(I replaced battery 3 times still lost time.) I went back to STAPLES and bought another one (like a DUMMY!) and this 2nd clock began losing time after 12 months also! These clocks are good for about a year and that's it! 2 clocks in less than 2 years!! I will now spend a little more $$ and hopefully find a clock that will last a few years! My old original clock lasted 10 years with only 1 battery change a year! PS: These 2 clocks that did not last had the name "SHARP" in red letters on the face they did not read "STAPLES"!. Spend a little more $$ and get the more expensive clock save yourself the aggrevation and save $$ in the long run!
Sadly this clock does not keep accurate time no matter how often you replace batteries .KEEP YOUR RECEIPT HANDY -or you will be stuck with this extra large paper weight .clock stopped keeping accurate time and no receipt -even with staples logo plastered on the front is meaningless -too bad for the purchaser was basically the attitude from customer service .
I purchased many of these clocks for around the office and almost all have broken or randomly stop working (and not because of the batttery). They are cheap but also cheaply made. Spend the extra money for something that will work consistantly.
