Econo Mat not for carpet floors

I have low pile carpet and this mat is just too flimsy for it. I doubt it will last long as the wheels on my chair already have permanent indentations made in the mat. Maybe on berber style carpet it will work ok?

Am satisfied with this mat. Though a bit thin it performs well and wheel depressions do not become fixed.

My carpeted floor is a little too soft for this mat. I like all the features but find indentations at contact points of chair. I suggest you make selection/ mat thickness based on flooring.

I WEIGH OVER 250 LBS. WILL SEE HOW LONG BEFORE IT CRACKS AND FALLS APART.IF IT HOLDS UP FOR 5 YEARS I'll be satisfied.

We purchased the first one from Staples. We were in need of a second one and actually bought a Rubbermaid. Took the Rubbermaid back to the store and went back to Staples to get one just like we got before. This is firm enough (Rubbermaid was flimsy and to soft - chair wouldn't slide smoothly) works well chair moves smoothly and the mat has a comfortable feel on bare feet. Would recommend to others.

This does a good job of protecting the carpeted floor. It does not slide but it does require two hands to move into place or adjust.
