Althgough time will tell. So far so good after about 1 month. I have it over wall to wall carpet in a bedroom office with plush padding. And I must tell you I weight 290 lbs. Like everything I wish it were a little cheaper.

I've had this chair mat a few weeks and so far it is great. I can't speak to the longevity of it but it seems to be strong and well-made it provides good support for my chair over fairly thick shaggy carpet and it doesn't smell like petroleum. I hope it lasts a long time without cracking like my last one did.

This product was dented within a week and feels like it will not last long. Very cheaply made and will need to be replaced frequently.
