Difficult to flatten out

Had to leave it out in the sun for 2 days and turn it over several times. Once flattened though it does what it is supposed to do protect a large area of carpet.

I am pleased with this purchase - it fits our needs; however I did have to place a more stable mat underneath this mat. Our carpet though it is berber was a little too "squishy" for the casters on the desk chair. They were sinking down too far and made it hard to roll on the mat. With a commercial grade of carpet or indoor/outdoor carpet this mat would work perfectly. I think that was mentioned in the description or a review maybe so definitely not the fault of the mat. It fits under my desk very well and looks good.
