Staples has good deals on the paper and the paper is as good as you can purchase anywhere else. I shop at staples because it is a local store and I want to support the local businesses. They are always good about sending the product the next day and no shipping cost. Their paper does as well as any and is a good price. I will continue to buy paper from Staples and when because when they have the sales you cannot beat the price. Especially since they deliver as well. That save even more because of the price of gas.
20 lb. copy paper is nowhere near as thick sturdy and substantial as it was some years ago. Hammermill paper made by International Paper is terrible these days--comes out of the printer wrinkled like it's absorbed tons of humidity. International Paper which I think makes the Staples house brands seems to do a little bit better with the Staples Multipurpose paper. It's still thinner and flimsier than paper used to be -- however even though it sometimes curls/wrinkles on the sides overall it is much much better than Hammermill. I gave it an average rating because -- compared to the paper of years ago -- that's all it is: average.
