I purchased this product because it was on sale at a good price. I use the product for personal use around the house or in some settings where I am a volunteer and find the need to provide printed copies of a project or presentation. This product handles that type of job very well. I have purchased this product before and it has worked well with my printer. It does not seem to jam or create problems and it seems to have an adequate thickness that it does not tear easily. It is a store brand but for the money it's a great value.

I have always been a loyal user of all Staples brand products and this brand of Staples ream of multipurpose paper 81/2 inches by 11 inches is no exception. I use it over the "name" brand all the time since my needs do not require the perfection of business since I have retired and my uses are primarily for personal use. Actually I have used the 'so called" quality paper and have not noticed any appreciable difference in either case. It works extremely well as an all purpose product and I use it for notes letter writing and even in my copy/fax machine. I see no reason to pay the extra cost of a higher quality paper when this works just as well.
