I purchased this paper because it was and usually is on sale. I have bought this paper when it wasn't on sale but for some reason I can't pass up a Staples bargain. The quality of this paper rivals any of the name brands and is just as functional. I doubt that Staples has a paper factory cranking out these reams so lets just go with tha simple fact that it is a really good general purpose paper with excellant white paper contrast. My wife uses the same paper at work and has never had a reason to switch.
I am value orientated and a great advocate of recycling. I frequently weed out old correspondence and reverse the paper to copy again with great results. It even runs smoothly through the printer if I have removed staples or it has folds! I donate the majority of copy paper I buy to "Treasures 4 Teachers". They in turn distribute it to teachers all over the state free of charge. As I am a retired teacher living on social security and a 50% teachers pension (Yes it is meager...even a100% one would not be much) I'm very limited financially as to how much I can afford to donate. I love Staples rebates on this .
great price for this ream but with inkjet printer still experience smudging/smearing--though I've experienced this even with papers specially made for inkjet only. Better for laser printing or if you have an inket it's not presentation quality but will do the job.
The use of this type of paper is great for every day work. Good for letters charts and just all around useful. The cost is very economical especially where there are sales.
