I purchase copy paper often as I am a teacher & my students use it for drawing & I use it to copy worksheets newletters etc. I always buy it when they have the rebate sales & love Staples for it as I can buy paper cheap as our school budget is not what it used to be.
I buy 2 to 4 boxes a week of this paper when on sale with coupons. It provides great value and quality WAS good until they changed it. The newer boxes are now thinner and get damaged VERY easy. The blue on the box and reams now rubs off on everything. The ream packaging is now "waxier" and the glue they use seems to stick to the first few pages in the reams I purchased so far. If you look at the pallet they put out of this paper you can still fine a few of the old boxes but I'm not sure how long that will last.
I am a hobby genealogist who uses tons of paper in my research. This paper is great for both quality and price. I purchase every time a rebate is offered. Even at full price it would be a good value. I feel I can trust the Staples brand for both quality and value. I will definitely continue to buy.
WE'VE ALWAYS USED EITHER THIS OR THE HAMMERMILL. USED TO GO FOR THE HAMMERMILL BECAUSE THE NAME MADE US THINK IT WAS BETTER IN SOME WAY. BUT AFTER USING BOTH FOR MANY PURPOSES (PRINTING COPYING FAXING BY HAND AND IN FEEDER) WE CAN'T REALLY TELL THE DIFFERENCE. WORKS WELL IN OUR HP MACHINE'S FEEDER WHICH CAN BE TEMPERMENTAL. ON THOSE RARE OCCASIONS WHEN THE FEEDER ACTS UP WE'VE CHECKED AND IT WAS NOT THE PAPER -- IT WAS THE FEEDER. THE PAPER WORKS AS WELL AS ANY OTHER. THIS IS A GOOD SOLID CONSISTENTLY HIGH QUALITY PAPER FOR ALL OUR USES. HAVEN'T BEEN DISAPPOINTED BY IT YET. FOR PHOTOS OF COURSE CERTAIN OTHER PAPERS ARE BETTER.
