I've been using this paper exclusively for quite a few years now so I have nothing to compare with however it's always served me well for inkjet printing at a reasonable cost. And... with a special "deal" like a sale combined with a coupon I can't think of any reason to buy anything else!
I use a lot of paper for business and personal reasons. I like to print on both sides for conservation purposes. I also print a lot of slides usually two-up. This paper works fine for all these purposes. The ink on the slides does not leak through and I can usually print two-up on both sides and still read them. I have been using this paper for many years and have always been satisfied with it. The fact that there are often promotions for this paper at Staples is another plus especially since it is often free after the rebate.
I always get the staples paper when there's the rebate promo making the paper Free. Paper is paper and it gets the work done for your every day home office needs. I love staples promos!
Some multipurpose paper does not go through the printer or copier as well as desired but I have never had any problem with this paper. Besides it is an excellent buy even when it doesn't have a discount attached to it. I like to use clip-art or other types of pictures in my write-ups as a picture is worth a thousand words. Since the paper is of a good consistency the pictures come out very well--just as good as the printed letters of the alphabet that explain these pictures. I would recommend this paper for all personal and/or commercial communications.
The ordering and trying to get a rebate took considerable effort and multple phone calls...despite the quality of the paper I will think twice before ordering.....Staples should have a better system for ordering and fufilling rebates...it should not be that difficult
It does what paper does - provides a blank printing medium. No problems with it; hasn't ever jammed or put blank pages on my inexpensive multifunction machine.
