Since the cost of ink is very high I use my printer as a black and white copier only. I cannot vouch for the quality of color copies or photographic copies as i have not used this paper for that purpose. It rarely jams. In purchasing paper I look mainly for price. I do not use this paper for legal or financial documents so its thickness is not a factor. I find little difference between this and other HammerMill papers. Friends have used it and also found it totally satisfactory. Unfortunately I did find a flaw. It has to do with the packaging. It seems flimsly and sometimes paper is slightly bent if not stored properly. There should be directions for storing unopened reems. If you buy in quantity to get a better price the last few reems may be disappointing. Generally I find this to be a very high quality product. It is equal to big name paper products. When it is on sale it can be an excellent buy. It should be available in half-boxes as full boxes are often too heavy and hard to store. If there is a long time between purchase and using final reems humidity can slightly affect the quality. I have always satisfied with the Staples brand for all products. If you are interested in economy you can't beat it.
I have been using the STAPLES brand of copy paper since it came out. Being a full-time town church and school volunteer with running activities such as Girl Scouts Garden Club Religious Education Hospitality Annual Fund Raisers Golf Committee and many others it seems as though I have personally kept this product on the shelf in the store and at home:) Perfect for publishing computer work correspondence files charts and notes. This has always been my "go to" supply item. What I love about it the most is that it's easily used for doubled-sided printing with no issues. Durable and sturdy product which I highly recommend because it's more affordable than other brands.
