Staples Multipurpose Paper

Buying the multipurpose paper is a great buy and good value because you can use it for an ink jet printer like I do or a laser jet printer and/or copy paper. The multipurpose paper can be used several different ways and is very cost effective.

Quality and right weight

I purchased the Staples Multipurpose Paper 8 1.2" X 11" Ream (500 sheets) due to the price and rebate offer. I like the brand and the weight of the paper. I generally purchase the Staples brands whenever possible and like their quality of products. The different colors available are also a nice feature and good quality. The Staples Multipurpose Paper flow freely through my HP Printer and rarely if never becomes jammed or wrinkled. I store the paper next to my printer to keep dry and easily accessible.

I purchased this item at my local store last week. The signage in the store said "$4.99 " but I neglected to see "after mail in rebate." The product itself is fine and it is all I bought on this trip. The cashier was nice enough to explain how the rebate worked what series of codes I needed to go home and input into the corporate server. I guess my only question is "Why did it have to be this way?" I suspect that many people would simply not take the short window of opportunity to go online and ask for their rebate/discount. It took me roughly four times as long to obtain my confirmation for receipt of my rebate submission as it did to drive the 1/2 mile to the store buy it and return home and it will be 2-4 weeks before I see it. Moreover it must cost Staples much more than $2.80 rebated/refunded to me process it and send it back to me than it would if they had simply offered the discount at the time of purchase. Such are the vagaries of buying stuff these days I suppose. I have nothing bad to say about the product or the nice cashier who helped me though the store has apparently moved all their office paper products from the right hand side of the building as it has been for decades to smaller islands near the front of the store which proved a tad confusing at first.
