I have a 6 yr old black and white "workhorse" printer that is very economical to use but due to its age it is subject to paper jams. "Bargain" papers generally jam frequently which wastes a lot of paper. Buying the more expensive paper negates the effectiveness of the "bargain" in keeping this old printer in use. However Staples Multipurpose paper is both a inexpensive and my old workhorse black and white printer works flawless with no jams whatsoever when I use it. I have the best of both worlds - Inexpensive jam-free printing with staples paper!
I originally started buying this simple because of a rebate sale but what turned out was not only was it a great buy but also a pretty good product for the money. At a whopping 96 * brightness this paper is ideal for just about any application. The brighter the paper the more detail is shown. Although not stated this product can be used for inkjets as well due to its brightness. As far as it's weight 20lbs can handle just a good a job as any heavier paper in the same catagory. So don't be mislead by Multipaper it can pass the test.
