we purchased this multipurpose paper for use in our home. It is actually a fine paper for just about any purpose. we have used it a couple of times now and have not had any problems with using it. I would recommend this paper to anyone for use in their office or home. It is a great bargain it you can purchase it with the coupon where you can get it for 1 cent. You have to wait for the rebate but it is worth it if you can get a whole ream of paper for one penny. The rebate comes in the form of a check that you just take to the bank.
Staples Multipurpose paper is smooth and has very few jams. The brightness makes the paper appear whiter and cleaner. When we use it for double sided printing it never seems to smear or bleed through the way others do. The price is always very competitive and when they have a sale the have a sale. You would be a fool not to stock up on this multipurpose paper. We have tried many different brands thickness and brightness but none of them compares to Staples Multipurpose Paper in both 8 1/2 x 11 and 11 x 17
There is not much to say about a ream of paper it is just plain paper. The best thing about it is that if you watch the adds they often have this paper on sale for 1 cent per ream (less if you are a premier customer). This does mean going to Staples every week to get paid to take a ream of paper but it does provide a steady supply of inexpensive paper. It is important to submit the rebates otherwise you end up paying a high price for what you get. They also often (but not as often as reams) have half cases or cases on sale with coupon and rebate at very good prices.
There's often a great sale on these cases I've never had a problem with them jamming any of my printers the quality is exactly what I'd expect which is unimpressive thin perfectly suitable for filing away documents and not embarassing for sending invoices and thank you letters.
