we got these tickets to do a 50/50 for a friend and co-worker that was going to be out for 6 or more months do to a tumor. we held the 50/50 at our Christmas party and raised over $600.00 ; we only had 65 people at the party. I truly work with a great group of nurses. I took the money and cards over to our friend and co-worker and she was very moved that we all cared so much for her. so you see the tickets that I purchased were a great help and now we will have them for future events and fund raising events.
An organization to which I belong had a fundraiser. One part involved a raffle for a television. Someone suggested making our own raffle tickets to save money. I certainly did not want to spend my time buying paper designing a cute ticket printing them out and then cutting them up. I volunteered to check out tickets at Staples. There they were -- just what we needed! A raffle buyer simply writes his or her name address and telephone number. The buyer keeps one half to verify he number and places the other half with the person's information into the bucket. The price was reasonable enough too.
Loved the tickets. We needed tickets for a raffle at church and they worked well. Like that people did not have to fill out the ticket just kept their "half".
