Does what it's meant to do well. Handle is a little short for large hands; Cutting teeth are very sharp--keep the little protective cover for reuse; mfgr should make cover larger and storable on the unit.

There is no tape end to scrape off the roll - this saves from the last cut and then starts the next tape wherever you place it.

I probably don't have the tape installed correctly. This is the first time I've tried to use a dispenser of this type. THERE WERE NO INSTRUCTIONS INCLUDED! And no clear picture so I can't see how to thread tape on the unit. Tape is continually getting stuck on guide & overall it's very clumsy to use. It could use a good redesign.

Made well enough not too different from the one I've replaced. Only 4 stars because the clear plastic wiper is much thinner and more (too) flexible than the last one. The wiper on the old one broke after many years of service not sure how long this thin one will last.
