The mat was put in a round that was taped with clear wrapping tape. So much was used that it took several hours to get residue removed. The item had a good fair price but I would have been better off purchasing one at a higher price than fooling with the one purchased.

I put this chair mat on a low pile carpet but the mat had a tendency to creep forward which eventually put it in contact with my desk. It happened repeatedly. Not good. The legs of the chair also left an indentation on the mat. Not good.
