Quite a bit thicker and stiffer than the standard chairmats and I expect being stiffer it will flex less and wear better over time. The thin standard thickness mats flex so much that they soon crack in the center and then need to be replaced. This was the thickest mat of this shape and size I could find and well worth the slight additional cost.

I am hoping it does not discolor as I have had similar products and they look yuck over time. I like that it is just the right size but not too much.

This floor mat is perfect for hardwood floors! It doesn't move and is so clear it's difficult to see it's there. Have had it for almost a month and am totally pleased. Chair moves smoothly. Please note that this wouldn't be good for use on carpeting. [...]
