A chair with rollers in any one spot for more that a few minutes on this chairmat develops a sinking spot. It is not thick enough for a chair with rollers on carpet. I weigh 160 and my chair is around 25lbs. That should not happen.

I am renting and did not want to loose my deposit by damaging the new carpets so these mats get the job done. My Study Buddy and I conduct research on 8' folding tables that we also purchased from Staple and the mats are long enough to stay of the carpet. They slide a little on the low pile carpet but eventually they will stay place. A great value at [$]
