Where's the long-term reliability?

I thought it would be thicker and not as pliable when chairs roll over the surface...it appears to be too flexible and over time it will crack at points of continued use (rolling a chair on top of it for approx. 8 hrs. per day)

We have this on indoor-outdoor carpeting and it does not have the sharp prongs. They are more flat and work well on this type of carpeting.

I'm a freelance book editor. I'm using the mat in my home office. I see no reason to spend one cent more. This mat fills the bill!

ordinary plastic runner. The good part is that it was free. the bad part is we have mostly hardwood floors and it needs to be on a rug.

Mat works as expected and is fairly priced. Purchased to replace basically the same product that I purchased from Staples a few years ago. The old one developed some cracks over time. This one feels like the same quality so I expect it will last a few years also.

I would not buy this floor mat again as a matter of fact after only 1 year I am having to replace it. It slides all over the floor has cracked and I am not that heavy a person. I use a regular office chair (nothing heavy-duty). this is cheaply made.
