Got it cause others were almost double the money. It should have. After 1 week you can feel isn't thick enough and will break in a matter of months. Use it in my home office every day usually change chair matt every 8-10 months this one will last way less.
Although this started as a pliable adequate covering for a rough wood floor in front of my desk it began hardening and cracking within a few years. As long as you know that a rough wood surface won't stop it from sliding around and that it probably won't last too long it will do the job for a while.
This mat is flexible enough to be moved into place easily and is easy on the feet. On the other hand it's firm enough to be a good surface under my chair even over very plush carpet. (Carpet with double pads underneath.)
Very thin carpet in business office. Took old mat in and my wife went with Staples rep to get a replacement. NOT same size - at least 6" shorter in both directions and too thin. Rolling around is an effort.
