It works for me

First and foremost I read ALL the reviews about this chairmat before purchasing (it was on sale for [$]). I knew about it's pros and cons including the fac that it's best suited for non-carpet flooring. So my review is not a complaint. And I received an email recently from Staples asking my feedback about this product.I bought this item for [$] + tax ([$] - $10 chairmat coupon) about 6-8 weeks ago -- I think that was a sweet deal! For that I give Staples and it's helpful staff at Allen TX location 5 STARS!! They honored the coupon without fuss.Since the review is about the product quality normally priced at [$] I give it 3 STARS -- here's why:I would not pay more than [$]. Other places sell similar quality items and they also start around $30. I use an office chair also purchased from Staples in my bedroom for computer use. Since the bedroom has mid-length carpet the chair tends to get stuck in the carpet after some time. This chairmat is to help ease the mobility of my chair. As other reviewers have pointed out I've noticed that the mat easily gets grooves or dimples under the wheels in a short time. So I still have to give it an extra push to move it around. But that push isn't at the same force as when there was only carpet. Overall it does the job. How long it will last is yet to be seen.Bottom line: If you find it on sale it's a good buy. Otherwise look for better quality (thicker and durable) mat that will work best on carpet.
We needed something to put under our office chairs and this sounded like a novel idea.. Sure glad we did. It makes moving around in the chair much easier.. Thanks
