I was replacing another floor cover from my father that lasted about 15 years. The last one was a solid piece about 1/2' thick and was probably not for carpet hence it eventually (after 9 years of in my use) it broke in 2 pieces. I was looking for a similar piece in the thick solid style but not finding it in a display model am willing to try this one. Thank You.

I paid extra for one that was supposed to be heavier and not dent. It's the same as the cheap ones. I'm going to have to buy a piece of hardboard and put rug tape on it because it's too irritating to keep trying to roll my chair out of the rut. It will keep the hardboard from mashing the carpet down I guess.
