This product fails to fulfill its main purpose. It is too thin and short periods in the chair produce deep indentations in the mat that persist for days. A similar product without a lip is slightly better but still fails to meet expectations. Staples' store does not appear to have an alternative product that would withstand the pressure of a 150 pound person sitting for more than 15 minutes.
I purchased the office floor mat at Staples in Mansfield and realized later that I needed a bigger size. I returned it to Staples and was able to order a new one on their computer and it was delivered the next day to my home! Great!!!
The product itself is good. It just did not quite work for me. It is too thin and the wheels dig into it causing a divet and not allowing the chair to move smoothly. I am considering sending it back but don't know if I can. The store I purchase from is not in my home town so I'm not sure how to do that. Is there a thicker one that won't allow for the divets to create in the mat and allowing the chair to move freely. I would recommend it but not for carpet maybe for tile or any other non-carpet flooring.
This was to help roll my chair on carpet that made it otherwise impossible. This has minimized the effort but not nearly as much as it should. It is thin and the chair sinks into the plastic so it takes effort to push out of the grooves made when sitting in the same spot for a while. I'm not a heavy person so this is not ideal.
