This mat is extremely well built and much thicker than other models purchased. I have older shag carpet and experienced many problems with other mats. This mat lies flat and is adequately secured to the carpet with small plastic spikes. I am extremely pleased with the design and am confident the mat will last for many years to come.

I have a medium carpet length. I consider it standard for a living room length. The wheels of the chair stretch out the matt and I sink it making it hard to push away from the desk. I am not happy with it but I guess you get what you pay for. It was the cheapest of the choices but it did say for carpet length I have.

I'm not that large of a person but after just 3 or 4 minutes depressions form under each of the chairs rollers that are difficult to roll out of. The price was attractive but turns out to have been a waste of money.
