Even though this is an "extra carpet" mat I'm afraid the chair wheels still leave small divots in the mat which make it difficult to navigate around. It is definitely better than no mat but I think next time we might try glass.

I bought this Chair Mat thinking it was made of out Berber rug so I could lay it down on my cellar floor which is just painted. To my original dismay I found out it was plastic. But giving it a try it does the trick. It laid down smoothly and firmly and it is an excellent product. It's funny how a mistake turned into the best choice. I would highly recommend this product.

I purchased this mat for my sons Racer chair and desk which are on top of carpeting. It was to protect the rug. It works well it just could be wider. However it works well for the price. The costlier mat was the same size however it was made for a hard wood floor. Would recommend purchase to protect the floor

The chair mat is a nice size and works as it is supposed to. It could be a little thicker but for the price this is OK. If you order online be careful to get one for Carpet not a hard floor.

This will be our 3rd one (not from staples) they were breaking thru after a year or so. I didn't realize that you could buy them for plush carpet so here we go trying something new. It was quite a bit more expensive than the previous ones so I will edit this if it works out that the mat actually works out for a longer time or let you know if not as well.
