The mat stays put as the teeth that grab it are longer which is great. The previous one we ordered did not. Unfortunately the sticker they put on the mat was not "easy pull" adhesive. Very difficult to get off and had to use Goo Gone and extra labor to remove it. The stickers should be made of the "easy off" adhesive.

In my home office the rug really requires this plastic mat so my chair rolls easily. They do not last forever however as this was a replacement for one I got four years ago and I am not in my office every day by a long shot. After about four years it starts cracking and breaking down — but when it’s working it’s great. I’ve gone through several of these in my life so I know this to be true.
